I live in a great city, Montreal. But please do not move here. Sure the city would love to increase its tax base and stop the seepage to the suburbs. I just don't want it to get any bigger. I like the fact that in the middle of the week, I can climb the mountain at the end of my street and find near silence in a century-old forest. Lucky students at McGill University have Mont Royal right in their backyard.
